Perhaps Today Ministries provides a number of educational, inspirational, devotional and other daily e-mail distribution list services. Below is a listing of our current offerings along with a handy subscribe button and detailed information link for each Group. Also, we invite you to click on the image below to find out what wonderful ministry works we are doing with ordinary used postage stamps! PTM is part of the Word For Life Christian Resource Center family of ministries.

To join any group  just click "Join." Your mail program will be started up with the correct address. Just click "Send" on the blank email.

*Perhaps Today Ministries*  A This is a Bible Topic Discussion list with outlined lessons posted frequently for group discussion. Posts are in simple language anyone can understand. Topics are from "Bibliology" to "Eschatology" and more. Or from "The Doctrine of the Bible" to "The Doctrine of Last Things!" Saying the same thing in simple English. The topics have been adapted from a college course & used with new Christians, older Teen Bible Studies & Youth Groups. It is also great for those ‘older’ in the faith interested in reviewing Christian Doctrine. The entire course is an on-going & continually repeated class & is updated with new research. Some topics covered are as follows: Bibliology: on the Bible; Biblical Theology; Theology: on God; Christology: on Christ; Pneumatology: on the Holy Spirit; Hamartiology: the doctrine of sin; Soteriology: on salvation; Ecclesiology: on the Church; Eschatology: on last things, etc. etc. Articles of topical interest are occasionally posted as well as News of Christian interest. Additional topics are frequently added per student requests. This is an easy-going group with friendly chatter & you are welcome to submit Bible topic research as well..

*XJW-Central* PTM no longer hosts it’s own counter-cult education/discussion group, but recommends, supports and co-moderates the best one the web has to offer. The Internet has experienced an influx of new Ex-Jehovah’s Witnesses, individuals attempting to recover from Watchtower indoctrination or for that matter from involvement in MANY different cults. XJW-Central is a place on the web, where individuals and/or groups who are addressing various recovery issues, can make others aware of their work…while getting to know and help each other. Having the opportunity to share our similar experiences as well as strategies for recovery can be quite essential. In an effort to put Ex-JWs into contact with a broad spectrum of individuals who share their experience we have created "XJW-Central" as a "get acquainted" forum. The list is open to all Jehovah's Witnesses, Ex-Jehovah's Witnesses, STUDENT Jehovah's Witnesses, to people recovering from other cults, and to ALL OTHER SEEKERS OF "The Truth". Our group has 100 plus members and has been established since 1998. *Please note that the Owner & Moderators of this list are Christians. *Serenity Prayer Devotions*  This is an announcement only list for daily devotions based on the Serenity Prayer and the Twelve-Step Recovery Program. Take a daily walk with Christ & with other people who are in need of daily encouragement or are in recovery from depression, to child abuse, sexual abuse, eating disorders, mental health issues, cult mind control, drugs or alcohol, physical or spousal abuse & so on. This devotions is offered from a Biblical perspective & designed to edify & build up those in recovery or in need of daily encouragement. Each post will contain a daily Bible reading schedule. Invite your friends to join if you enjoy this devotion. One message is posted daily. This is not a discussion group.

EarlyChurchFathers This is an announcement only list for a single daily posting of one devotion from our early church fathers; such as Augustine, John Chrysostom, Jerome, Gregory of Nyssa, Clement of Alexandria, John Cassian, and the like. Posts will contain a daily Bible reading schedule as well. This is not a discussion group.

*Gospel Harmony* "Gospel Harmony" is an announcement only Bible Study of the life of Jesus Christ in Chronological order, which makes it easier to compare parallel accounts of each of the Gospels, thus a ‘Harmony’. Each post contains a chronological selection of scripture from one or more of the four Gospels, with a life application note, information notes with some helpful scriptures for personal reference work & occasionally a prayer or call to accept salvation.

*Huki And Pelos* "Huki & Pelo’s" stands for "Hugs & Kisses and Peace & Love!" This is an announcement list with just good stuff…inspiration & humor, such as great stories & encouragement’s, with some clean jokes, a bright spot in your day! Need a lift? Want something encouraging you can send to a friend? You just might find it in Huki & Pelo’s archives. Members are welcome to send contributions to the list but all posts are moderated. 5 or 6 posts daily. 'A cheerful heart is good medicine...'Proverbs 17:22'

*UnceasingPrayer* First Thessalonians 5:17 explains this group. It is just what it says, "Unceasing Prayer". Your prayer requests and your prayers are welcome here. Plus, I will post prayers & prayer information when I can. Abraham Lincoln once said, "I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere else to go. My own wisdom, and that of all about me, seemed insufficient for the day." It seems to me that we are better prepared for life on earth if we start with prayer, end with prayer and have prayer in the middle. It is very hard to fall when you are already on your knees.

*The Potter’s Garden* The Potter's Garden is a group for Christian women who, because of abuse, abortion, an unequally-yoked marriage, divorce, and other life circumstances, feel like "cracked pots." The Lord our God, the Potter, takes cracked pots and grows beautiful gardens in them. This is a place to be encouraged, supported, up-held in prayer, with counseling from the Word of God, that you may "bloom where you are planted"

** Devotions **   If you would like all of PTM’s devotions plus many more, then Devotions is the group for you. This list seeks to be a common denominator between Christians, and is a medium to heavy volume list, running between 20 to 50 messages per day with an average being about 20-30. This list is hosted by PTM’s webmaster, Mark R. Magill who also created the "Word For Life Resource Center". The "Word For Life" project is a cooperative effort between a group of friends to provide valuable Christian resources to everyone, with special emphasis on Christian ministries, Christian schools, and family-friendly sites, of which I am very proud to be a part of.
