Spring Clean Up

     It is Spring clean-up time. Lawns are mowed, shrubs are trimmed and garages are cleaned out. It is time to clean out closets and attics and to have that yearly garage sale you have been anticipating over the winter. In general, it is time to clean out all of the old unwanted and unneeded items.

     Wouldn't it be nice if we could as easily do that to our lives Clean out all of the garbage that has been interfering with us having fulfilled lives. Wouldn't it be exciting to take a trash can and begin filling it with bitterness, anger, materialism, hopelessness, anxiety, hatred, loneliness and fear?

     To me Spring is a time for new beginnings Starting fresh in our relationships, reviving   our commitments to our spouses and children and giving ourselves an opportunity to begin over again

     God can help us clean out our lives, and to begin new again. It will not be easy, but anything worth having takes considerable work. I encourage you to begin today, and you will be surprised at how much fun life can be.
