Minute Message: Las Vegas

	Las Vegas is a place with a lot of glitz, glamour and fantasy.

Each hotel boasts of some unique feature to draw visitors to the city 

of their partuclar establishments. One place has knights riding on 

horses, one has the white tigers, while another had pirate ships and

fireworks.



	One thing I noticed on my recent visit there was that once inside

everything was pretty much the same. There were gaming tables, slot

machines and restaurants of all sorts. So the question is, why go to such

expense if everything is basically the same? It is because they want your

money. They will treat you like a king, as long as you are being separated

from your hard earned dollars. Once you leave, they have no interest in 

your well being. 



	The church that Jesus built is not like that. His church is

concerned with people, not their money (Or anything else they possess - Ed.)

Jesus wants His church to be a place wehre healing is offered, hope is 

renewed and life is given meaning. I hope we at the North Bend Church of 

Christ are doing that. If not, we have no right to exist.



	Why not stop by and visit us when you have opportunity?
