Minute Message: Luxor

	I was greatly impressed with a hotel in Las Vegas (Nevada, USA) 

called the Luxor. One of the many impressive characteristics of this 

hotel is that it has a light beam that, on a clear night, can be seen

in Los Angeles, California. 



	The 315,000 watt light made of Xenon is the most powerful light in

the world. It is 40 times stronger than 40 billion candles, or 105,000 

flashlights. I hav eno idea as to why they have that light in their hotel.

It does nothing but shine into the air. It provides no light for someone

needing it, and neither is it helpful in times of emergency. It just sits

there shining straight up into the sky.



	As strong and powerful as that light is, it does not compare to the

light provided by Jesus Christ. It was writen of Him that He was the  light

that enlightens every man. 



	People are in need of direction. Most are stumbling along attempting

to make some sense out of this strange and confusing world we live in. The

harder they try to find their way, the more confused they are. If you are 

one of those searching for direction, let the Son of God provide it for you.
