Minute Message: A New Year

	Next week begins a new year. Some of you are probably

saying it cannot end quick enough for you. The past twelve

months were strenuous and painful. 



	Whatever the next year brings depends greatly on you.

If you sit back and let what happens come your way, don't be

surprised if you look back on December 31, 1997 and find you

have gone nowhere and nothing you had hoped would take

place, occurred. 



	If we see the new year as an opportunity and plan to

take advantage of it, then the year will be an exciting

experience. Every individual must create his "breaks." It is

true, that for some they are in the right place at the right

time, but that is rare, and for most of them they are simply

receiving the benefits of hard work.



	When you establish your goals for 1997, I hope you will

include God in them. Remember, He is the one who provides

you with each new day. And with those new days, you have an

occasion to begin new. God so wants a relationship with each

of us, but it is up to the individual to receive him.
