Minute Message 8/29/98



Vacation



	By the time you read this, I will be starting a week long trip into

the Sister's wilderness. This is an adventure I look forward to every

year. It is an opportunity for me to get away and be alone with my 

thoughts, my horse and most importantly, my God.



	The Summer has been an extremely busy one. Now, I can do some 

reflecting. Work is enjoyable, but sometimes even the best of jobs can 

take its toll on an individual. Some of God's greatest servants experienced 

the need for rest and renewal.



	How about you? When was the last time you took time away from your

daily routine to be renewed in body, spirit and mind9 You may feel you

do not need it, but maybe it would be helpful if you asked your spouse

or children I am sure they have an opinion



	Sometimes we get to thinking we are indispensable. Frankly, if 

you or I died today, a new person would be filling our shoes tomorrow. I 

encourage you to get away and be renewed If Jesus and His apostles

needed it, be assured, you do to.
