15. SALVATION
"Salvation is of the Lord."
Salvation is whatever I need.
Salvation from whatever brings me low, or
difficulties I need saving from. (Even
from my own pettiness, my fears, the
doubts, the brambles that I walk through.)
He will give me his joy -- he will even
"joy over me with singing." For I belong
to the Lord.
Salvation is of God. In him, I have
all that I will ever need. May salvation
come to me, and to my house, today. He
will save, yes, he will save.
"Therefore with joy shall ye
draw water from the wells of
salvation." (Isa.
12:3)

16. HEALING FOR A BROKEN PEOPLE
The land that makes up our individual
lives often gets broken or diseased. The
things we cherish seem to be denied us or
fall away. We are left with less than
life, just when we want more of life, and
want it desperately.
But God is there. I think his heart
must surely say:
"My people are a broken people.
There are many tears that reach my throne.
But I am here. I am the Lord, ever the
same. And I protect my own. Come, oh
come."
"If my people, which are called
by my name, shall humble themselves
and pray, and seek my face, and turn
from their wicked ways; then will I
hear from heaven, and will forgive
their sin, and will heal their land."
(II
Chron. 7:14)

17. I, GOD, WILL HEAL
I stretch forth my hands to heal today,
As by the shores of Galilee;
I still bring new hope and new life
To all who put their trust in me.
Come to me, and draw very close,
There is no other Way,
I came to save the hurting world:
I hear my people when they pray.
"For I will restore health to
thee, and I will heal thee of
thy
wounds, saith the Lord."
(Jer. 30:17a)

18. GO, LITTLE PRAYER
Go forth, little prayer that I pray tonight,
Go with love and insight to a broken
world;
Go forth, little prayer, to bring joy and
hope
into hearts where life seems hard.
Go forth, little prayer that I pray from
my heart
sincerely, doing the best I can,
Offering to God, trusting in his work
to bring all people unto him.
" ...The
testimony of Christ
was confirmed in you." (I Cor.
1:6)

19. THANK YOU
Lord thank you for your wonderfulness
your trustworthiness
wholeness
mightiness
everlastingness
Thank you for all you are to me.
Thank you for your steadfastness
your dearness,
nearness,
kindness,
goodness.
Thank you for all you are helping me
to "be".
" ...The riches of his
goodness..." (Rom.
2:4a)

20. GRANT, LORD
May the Scriptures hold true in our lives
today;
May we look for his upward way,
And not be bound by doubts or fear,
But always know that he is near.
The same Lord yesterday, today,
Lifts our hearts when we do pray;
Lord grant us to speak your word today
With boldness, and that signs and wonders
may
Be following in your holy name,
Proclaiming wholeness out of pain
And bitter defeat turned to our gain.
Come and be mighty in our hour,
And show us your wonder-working power,
For there are perilous times to face:
We would meet you as of face to face.
Help us to trust you for this grace:
Oh Father, send your saving grace.
"And now, Lord, ...grant unto
thy servants, that with all boldness
they may speak thy word." (Acts4:29)

21. EMOTIONS
Joy is a garland;
Love is a flowing stream;
Beauty is a relationship with a friend;
Satisfaction is experiencing a dream.
May God grant the fulfillment of your
Godly emotions.
I speak "Peace" to you today.
" ...For the Lord had made
them joyful..." (Ezr. 6:22a)

22. I SEEK THE UPWARD WAY
I seek the upward way,
Though my feet be too weary to climb;
You will lift me up, oh Lord,
Because I trust in you.
I seek the holy way,
Not walking in the mundane of the day,
But turning to you in everything:
That my hope may be built up.
I seek the higher things.
Let me not be content to simply drift
Or find less than full meaning
in your love and care.
Keep my mind on the upward way;
Lord, let me trust you
To take my feet there!
"And the remnant that are
escaped of the house of Judah
shall
again take root downward, and
bear
fruit upward." (Isa.
37:31)

23. I WILL SEND YOU
I will send you forth to a world
That has lost all hope because of strife.
I will be the One to fill earth with life,
Acting in the capacity as if some holy
midwife.
Learn, my people, that I, the Lord,
Am deep and strong and very great.
My power has no shortened gate,
And life is not left to "up to fate."
"But grow in grace, and in the
knowledge of our Lord and Saviour
Jesus Christ." (II
Pet. 3:18a)

24. THANK YOU, GOD
God, thank you for your continued
interaction
within me, in all my varied moods.
Let me look, always, for the way you are
"happening" to, and in, my life.
Let me live to trust you.
(And thank you that when,
because of
trouble
or circumstances, I feel as if I'd
lost the ability to trust you,
You are still entirely trustworthy;
And you go on trusting me anyway.)
May I believe that you, who have
"happened" to me
in my past, will guide and guard
each of my "todays."
"But thanks be to God, which
put...earnest care into the
heart... " (II Cor.
8:9)

25. LOOKING UP
Let me not settle for the lesser
life, the status quo. But let my eyes
ever be lifted above. There is so much
bad news, so much hardship of life, to
take my emotions down. I choose, oh Lord,
to look up again. To trust that you have
"great good" for me.
Let me look up at all times, and not
bog down in whatever mess I'm slogging
through. Teach me that you are the
victory. Oh, help me, Lord, to always
look to you.
"For I will surely deliver
thee...because thou hast put
thy
trust in me." (Jer.
39:18)

26. LORD, I ADORE YOU
Lord,
I...
love you
worship you
adore you
stand before you,
waiting for your presence
(there is no other help beside).
Here I am, Lord, coming before you.
I...
wait to implore you,
but mostly adore you,
the Living and worthy Lord.
I worship your name.
I come.
Oh, I'm glad I came.
"Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift
up my soul." (Ps.
25:1)
(c) 1995 & 2009 by Marilee Miller
27. GO, MY PEOPLE
Go, my people, you who have been
scattered. I breathe unity of spirit upon
the body of Christ, that it may fulfill
the highest purposes of God, and go forth
to comfort a hurting world.
Go, my people, and tell that I have come
to save.
Oh, speak my word from hearts grown holy
and brave!
" ...And they glorified the
God of Israel." (Matt.
15:31c)

28. from PROVERBS
"The words of a man's mouth are as
deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom
as a flowing heart."
"The name of the Lord is a strong
tower: the righteous runneth into it, and
is safe."
"A man that hath friends must shew
himself friendly: and there is a friend
that sticketh closer than a brother."
(Prov. 18:4, 10, 24)
